There is a function if you would like to make check and save operation in the extracted view:
dbSetConnCurrent(geGetEditCellView())

[Cadence Virtuoso] Certain instance of the netlist voltage saving
I have a need in saving all voltages but for certain instance, it can be done with pretty simple approach. You should create .scs file and include it as a model, this file should contain next string:
save * "/path to your instance"
