After Suse setup a lot of services doesn’t start automaticly after boot, and for correct work you should type in a terminal:
sudo /etc/init.d/autofs start
But, there is way to configure this service for start every computer boot. Go to Yast -> System services, expert mode and choose 5 and 6 level.
I often have a strange problem in Suse, my hotkeys dont’t work through some time after power off.
My experimental solving for it:
Go to other xterm desktop (Ctrl + Alt + F1..7) and back, after that all is working fine
For successful update of a system, it’s necessary to connect your ISO file in the Yast and to give it name (ISO11_3 for example) and to turn off all other repos.
The next step is typing command in a terminal:
zypper dup -r ISO11_3
And just read what you need to do (type yes or no) and wait for complitely update.
